Have you ever wondered which publisher is the right one for your book? Do you need to
know more about what types of books are not and not? Don't have the time to get to the
library or your local bookstore?
Here's a solution: Consult publishers' catalogs.
Catalogs give you a quick overview of publishers' upcoming books and present titles.
Flip through their pages and you'll also get a sense of where the general public and
publishing industry (and vice versa) are going.
Once, you had to order a hard copy catalog. (You still can, although it may cost you.)
Today, you can find what you want from the Web.

Two caveats before you dive in:
- Difficult as it may be to believe, not all publishers have Web sites.
- Publishers' sites can take forever to download, as they include numerous
graphics, including book covers.
